Artist Statement
Through my work, I reconnect with the spirit of digital art that’s shaped me.
I’m interested in creating images that invite the viewer to immerse themselves in a fantasy space: a world of experiences that may not be obtainable within their material reality.

Developing a multi-disciplinary practice, I investigate the still and moving image. While my paintings distill moments through a digital lens, I use animation to exhibit my appreciation for human expression in movement.
My aesthetics are informed by digital media including online art & videos, anime, video-games and digital culture. Defining the relationship between animation and painting through my work, I hope to send a digital message, “I am here!”.
